“Zambians In Space” The Movie

1964. The great space race was on.  In the ensuing fervor to reach the moon first, the United States of America and the Soviet Union overlooked Zambia, the one country that threatened to beat them to the moon…and…within days…land Matha Mwamba, (a 17-year-old African girl), a missionary and two specially trained cats on Mars.

Zambians in Space is based on a true story of the 1964 Zambian Space Academy and its leader Edward Nkoloso.  Think a “Don Quixote” & “Cool Runnings” meets “The Right Stuff.”

The grassroots support campaign for “Zambians In Space” continues to grow.
